For this edition, Comandante responsibly sources high-quality timber, carefully slicing it into natural veneers. Each piece is selected for its unique grain pattern and meticulously laminated onto the stainless steel body. It’s then hand-finished with a natural hard wax oil for a smooth, polished surface.
Inside, the Nitro Blade burr set, made from high-alloyed high-nitrogen stainless steel, delivers unmatched grind consistency and particle precision. Designed and refined in Comandante’s own lab, this burr geometry reduces crank torque while increasing bean throughput — ensuring smooth grinding and outstanding cup quality across all brew methods.
The Mk4 introduces several improvements:
